Of course we all want
paradise but we want someone else to create it for us and we want it now.
At last the outside is coming
into shape with the building rubble gone.
The house with most of
the rubble gone. We are planning to put a variety of trees and shrubs
here.
Flowers waiting to be
planted.
Our traditional style
calcada made by one of the young men from the village. Aaron and Phil
built the walls and steps that enclose the outdoor room. This space
allows us to exit through the new french doors that lead out of the
dinning room.
The beautiful view from
the upstairs hall window.
The calcada from the
fig tree (right) showing the old wall. Soon there will be a lovely gate
and ivy.
Emma and Ortillia walking
down the lane with the sheep and goats.
Looking out over the
olive grove today, now that Ortillia brings the sheep and goats to pasture
here.
The front garden regrows
after the abuse of scaffolding, concrete and sand. Another miracle!
A
peaceful scene in the village, just a few minutes walk from our house
Flourishing
flowers in the new planter.
An
old open cisterna, full of fish, just down the lane from the house
